About Moo Matri

What does Moo Matri mean? Matri means mother. In a playful way, we intend Moo Matri to mean, mother cow. 

 

Moo Matri is dedicated to inspiring funding to support both the expansion of the Mother Divine Program℠ and their happy cows through various projects such as the manufacturing and sale of the uniquely nourishing dairy products  from their own happy cows and the Shri Matri(SM) Jewelry project. Moo Matri is also dedicated to supporting the happiness, health and well-being of cows

 

The Mother Divine Program is a program of Maharishi Global Administration through Natural Law. It comprises groups of women around the world dedicated to realizing their full spiritual potential—enlightenment—and enlivening world peace through the nourishing power of bliss and coherence.

Ahimsa means non-violence. In this context, ahimsa means that the cows enjoy organic feed and compassionate loving care. We see them as our friends and benefactors. They graze freely on pastures which are pesticide and herbicide free on the Mother Divine Program campus. The mother cows are allowed to nurse their calves for at least six months. We take pride in allowing all our cows and their calves to live out their natural life span enjoying a close emotional bond with each other. 

 

Moo Matri upholds respect, dignity, appreciation, love and proper care of cows everywhere. Our purpose is to support one herd of cows that is cared for according to the four main principals of The Cows Foundation, as well as to support the women of the Mother Divine Program.

 

The four main principals of The Cows Foundation:

• Cows are allowed to live out their full life span.

• Cows are nurtured, respected and treated with kindness.

• Young calves are allowed to stay with their mothers and nurse from them for at least 4-6 months.

• Cows enjoy organic feed and are allowed to graze freely on pasture free from pesticides and herbicides.
